About Me

My name is Chris Rowtcliff, an Adelaide based Microsoft cloud specialist and software developer, with a bit of cyber-security thrown in for good measure! After 10 years freelancing in and around the U.K., I moved to Adelaide, Australia where I met my now wife, Shaileigh a (who blogs at https://shaileigh.com). I currently working in the education sector focusing specifically on Microsoft cloud architecture and deployment, as well as application development and modernisation.

Prior to moving to Australia, I worked for a number of clients, from startups to multi-national companies as lead developer, architect and technical director helping to create custom content management systems, ecommerce systems, mobile applications and line of business applications and helping organisations adopt the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud platform.

Whilst in Australia, I led the development of a mobile application for a global non-profit organisation which is now in the Google Play and Apple App stores, led the development of a large charity giving application as well as a number of other projects.

In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking, hiking and trying to automate my life with Home Assistant.
